ANY GOOD? "It's scary as f**k, with trunk-necked Craig Fairbrass 'shining' as the nastiest onscreen loonipath since Trainspotting's Begbie! It's also gritty and brilliant".

"the acting is generally above average, with a memorable turn from Craig Fairbrass as a drug-addled psycho."
"Craig Fairbrass does a decent turn as a one-man horror show."
"Craig Fairbrass born for this role"

"Craig Fairbrass excells as the psychopathic Pat Tate."
"That said the cast is excellent, delivering committed, full-bodied performances that never cop out when things get nasty."

"Craig Fairbrass is excellent here chillingly convincing as roid crazed Pat Tate"

This Film is superb. Class. As Close to True as u will ever see. Very Accurate in detail. The Acting Was spot on. They Should all get oscars 4 it. Craig Fairbrass is outstanding. The Fight Scenes are so realistic. Love it. The truely Outstanding British Film Of the year. A Must See. CLASS
This film starts at a hectic pace and just doesnt let up, all the way!
Theres a whole slew of recognisable actors in here, some faces from Football Factory, and even Craig Fairbrass. In fact Fairbrass is a main character and pulls this off with ease, only to show that his talents were wasted on that mind numbing plastic shite called Eastenders.
" Craig Fairbrass is incredible in this film. I can't think of a movie where he's been better. Born for this role!"
BRITISH- Film Of The Year-
HERE IS SOME PUBLIC OPINION.
"Just wanted to say you how much I enjoyed the portrayal of Pat Tate in 'Rise...', I thought Craig Fairbrass really captured the inner energy [and possibly unpleasantness] of the guy. Truly great work in my humble opinion."
"I thought messrs Hartnett and Stone were very good too, but it was Fairbrass's's performance that dominated a film that I enjoyed very much".
"Its good to see an excellent british actor do so well!!
"Fairbrass saved the film. The actors that played Leech, Tucker and Rolfe were shite. Tucker looked like a fat fifty year old who'd done too much sunbathing in Puerto Banus in this movie"
"watched this film other night excellent loved it that much watched it again strate after. Craig fairbrass is excellent in this film dont think anyone could of played this role any better.
"craig fairbrass is awesome in this movie, hes very convincing!
" Fairbrass was always a good tough guy".
"great scene, Craig Fairbrass is so intense in this film, great performance"
"PLAUDITS"- I just saw the film “Rise of the foot Soldier” which is good all round. However I have to say Craig Fairbrass is on scene stealing form! An excellent performance
RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER
Brutal Brit flick about real-life general thug and Gangland villain Carlton Leach and the changes in the English crime scene he experienced over 2 decades.Craig Fairbrass does his best work ever as the psychotic Pat (the attack on the pizza parlour manager with a pizza cutter is truly scary stuff).
"we would be lying to you if we told you we did'nt absoulutely love Craig Fairbrass as the singurlary one dimensional ball anger of hatred. Not since the afore mentioned "menace to society"and Larentz Tates O'dog have I seen a character that exsisted for the sole reason to cause as much un provoked pain to as many people as possible as Pat Tate.
"craig fairbrass the saving grace of this film"
This film was really badly cast with the roles of Leach,Tucker and Rolfe being miscast but the one they did get right was Craig Farbrace as Pat Tate. He really nailed that role and gave a really realistic performance which could have been Pat Tate himself it was so good.
Maybe the film should have been more about Pat Tate than Carlton Leach. Carlton Leach is just not that interesting enough to make a film about.
CRAIG FAIRBRASS AS PAT TATE TOTALLY STEALS THE SHOW.
Everyone is good, but he completely outdoes them. He is one of nastiest, most horrible vicious characters i've seen on screen. He left me with a much more disturbed feeling than Ben Kingsley in Sexy Beast (though he is excellent)

DEVILS PLAYGROUND
GORE PRESS
The Devil’s Playground is good for a numbers of reasons, but most notably are a strong performance from Craig Fairbrass
Devil’s Playground is a decent zombie horror. It is essential watching simply for Craig Fairbrass’s performance and the amazing free running zombies.
